What Is Litz Wire?

Many thin strands, each individually insulated, twisted together. Reduces skin effect at high frequency — more current uses the full conductor cross-section.

12-strand 26AWG litz wire coil in pickup mode. Driven by a 16AWG trifiler dual-drive coil. Cap bank starting at 1.5V. Let it run.

1.5V → 3V → 6V → 9V. The cap bank voltage kept climbing as the litz wire pickup harvested energy from the spinning pulse motor rotor.
